
| Freeze Frame Entertainment is a talent management & production company founded by partners Panichelli and Williams in 2004. Since opening, Freeze Frame Entertainment has produced a variety of projects. Their first full-length feature, a comedy based on a true story, entitled Moola, featured the talent of Daniel Baldwin, Charlotte Ross, Efren Ramirez, Treat Williams and William Mapother. It won the Best Director (Comedy) award at its premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival in 2007. It was released to critical acclaim in May 2008. Next was the feature film Blackout, a gritty character-driven drama set against the backdrop of the blackout of the summer of 2003 as New Yorkers battled the sweltering heat and each other. Starring Jeffrey Wright, Zoe Saldana, Saul Rubinek and Melvin Van Peebles. The film premiered at The Tribeca Film Festival in 2007, and was the opening night film for the Urbanworld Film Festival. It is currently airing on BET and was released theatrically in 2008. Freeze Frame currently has several feature films, a mini-series and both scripted and reality pilots in various stages of development, most notably a venture into the horror genre with the full length feature, The Reformatory. The company is committed to producing high quality, commercially viable film & television projects in a variety of genres and budget sizes. |
